What you should expect
We enjoyed playing the game at a high level, but more importantly we have had a lot of fun along the way. We would like to help the kids that come to our camp become better ball players, but we also want to teach them how much fun this game can be!
Our own "Field of Dreams"
Our ball diamond was built in 2010 and began with the installation of the backstop. Our field features a home run fence that stands 200ft from home plate. There are also player's benches bleachers for the fans. We have also added a scoreboard and flag pole which stand behind the left field fence. A portable artificial mound (can be removed for fastball) was constructed for pitching too. The most recent addition is our clay infield that was added in the spring of 2019.
What the kids will learn
After another great summer in 2023, we are ready to make 2024 camps even better with our updated registration options to suit your child's skill level (See the "What's New?" page for more details. Our Camp Leaders have worked with NCCP coaches to design a program that will teach the fundamentals of baseball and fastball in a fun, enjoyable environment. They will also experience country life on the farm and will enjoy the animals, trails, wagon rides, etc.
Get to know our leaders!
Greg Van Boekel
Greg has played with Payton for several years in both fastball and baseball. He has multiple ORSA titles as well as a U16 Canadian championship title. His team won back to back OBA championships in 2015 and 2016. Greg was selected to the ICBA all-star team that competed in the 2016 Ontario Summer Games. Recently, he played in the CPBL championships and toured throughout the U.S. as a starting pitcher and outfielder for the Ontario Nationals Baseball Club. In 2021, Greg played played for the Fanshawe Falcons of the OCAA and was named an OCAA All-Star and received the Falcons Rookie of the Year award. Greg now plays for the Innerkip Eagles of the Tri-County Men'sFastball League.
Payton MacDonald
Payton previously played for the Ontario Nationals 18u baseball club in the CPBL. He has been a teammate of Greg in past in both fastball and baseball. He also plays for the Fanshawe Falcons of the OCAA, completing his first season with Greg in the fall of 2021. In his fastball career he has competed in multiple Provincial, Eastern and Canadian championships, taking home an U16 Canadian championship as well as multiple ORSA titles. In his baseball career he has won an OBA championship in 2016 and has travelled to the U.S. to visit and compete against several NCAA schools.
Cancellation Policy
Full refunds will be applied for any cancellations made a least 7 days prior to the start of the camp week selected. Registrations are non-refundable after this time.
